1. Who we are

ashcar.ca is operated by AshAuto Inc. (CRA Business Number 790398044), an Ontario corporation trading as "AshCar", at 27 Prairie Dunes Place, Concord, Ontario, L4K 2E4, Canada. By using this site or submitting a request, you agree to these terms.

2. What AshCar does

AshCar is a car sourcing broker, not a dealership. You tell us the car you want, or the car you want to sell, and we search the market and contact sellers and dealers to find you a match. Any purchase or sale is made directly between you and the seller or buyer, on their terms. Listings, prices and estimates shown on this site come from market data and are a guide, not an offer or a guarantee of price or availability.

3. Your information

You agree to give accurate details when you submit a request. How we collect, use and protect your information is set out in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Text messaging (SMS)

If you check the SMS consent box on one of our forms, you agree to receive text messages from AshCar about your own car search or the car you listed to sell: confirmation that your request was received, matches found, price updates, and next steps. The box is unchecked by default, and consent to texts is never a condition of using the site or submitting a request.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Full programme details are in our SMS Terms.

5. Using the site

Do not misuse the site: no automated scraping, no false or fraudulent requests, and no attempt to interfere with how it works. The site's content, design and AshCar name belong to AshAuto Inc. and may not be copied without permission.

6. Limits of liability

The site and service are provided as is. To the extent the law allows, AshAuto Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site, from market data that turns out to be inaccurate, or from a transaction between you and a third-party seller or buyer. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
